Question
How do I update the General Access module?
Answer
To download and install the update, complete the following steps:
1. Click on the hyperlink to the update you require.
2. A File Download dialog box will appear.
3. Click Save
4. In the "Save in" box choose Desktop. Do not change the name of the file.
5. Click Save. If you have saved the update to this location before, you will be prompted as to whether you wish to replace the existing file. Choose Yes
6. When the download is completed, click close.
7. Double click the icon on your desktop to install the update and follow the prompts in the installation program.
Note: The path C:\Program Files\Timetabling Solutions\The Timetabler V7 will then appear for you to update your program. This needs to be set to the location of the General Access program on your network. It is not possible to update the General Access module when users are accessing it. You will need to update the program when it is not in use, or ask your System Administrator to close the program for all users so that it can be updated.
