“If you don’t use it you lose it.”

Have you thought about attending one of our training courses as a way to refresh and build on your timetable knowledge?
“If you don’t use it you lose it.”

This quote applies to skills and knowledge that you have acquired. As you prepare for next year’s timetable you will be aware that it also applies to your timetabling skills and knowledge.

We get many calls from our clients asking for help that can range from the quite straightforward:

• Where is that button that I use to change the Maximum Class Size?

• How do I make sure certain electives do not run on the same line?

• How can I get all classes of a subject into one room?

to the quite complex:
• I have a lot of students who are accelerating, what is the best way for me to handle this?

• We don’t have enough science labs, how do I make sure all classes only have one science period in a general purpose room?

• How do I set up vertical home groups?

Have you thought about attending one of our training courses as a way to refresh and build on your timetable knowledge?

If you are looking at a refresher course, try the Overview Course where we have participants with varying degrees of experience. Some are completely new to timetabling, some are experienced timetablers who are new to our program whilst others are experienced timetablers who have been using our program for a number of years. Attending our Overview Course is a great way to refresh your skills and to learn about the new features added to the program over the past few years.

If you are looking at building your skills and knowledge, the Advanced Course is an ideal way to learn and discuss some of the more complex timetabling concepts.

If you want further information on our courses or advice on which course would best suit your needs, give one of our consultants a call on 03 5241 9801 or go to the Training page on this website and select Schedule of Course to see full details of all of our upcoming courses.
