How to Cause a Clash in Construction | Roll Classes
Thursday, October 15, 2009
When allocating groups in Construction Roll Classes, there may be occasions when you wish to override a constraint to allocate a particular group.
For example, there may be a room clash or teacher unavailable and you wish to override this. To do this, place your cursor in the working line (the blue line) in the period you wish to allocate, then simply type the letter of the group you wish to allocate. Eg, you wish to allocate group C on Day 2 p4. Place your cursor in the blue line on D2 p4 and type C. You will be given a warning that you are about to cause a problem, click yes. The check screen will detail what clashes have occurred. Further information can be found in Timetable Development Overview lessons located in our Lesson Library.
