Set up Daily Organiser File for 2007
Tuesday, February 06, 2007
We recommend you create a new Daily Organiser file for 2007 and import all of your parameters used in 2006.
The import function enables you to create a new file without having to re-enter the items under the Information menu, such as Parameters, Absences, Cancellations and Teachers.

To do this, complete the following steps.

1. On the main menu of the Daily Organiser module click File.
2. Click New...
3. Type the name of the new file eg Daily Organiser 2007.dof and click Save.
4. On the main menu of the Daily Organiser module click File and click Import Parameters.
5. Select your previous Daily Organiser file and click Open.
6. A message will appear to indicate whether the parameters were imported successfully, click OK.
7. On the front page of the Daily Organiser module click Timetable...
8. Click Yes to save before moving to the new timetable database.
9. Select your new timetable and click Open.

The 2007 Daily Organiser file is now read for use.

Attached is Lesson 9 of Daily Organiser which provides a more detailed look at settig up a new Daily Organiser file and linking it to a new timetable.
