Each Timetabling Solutions Training Course includes a comprehensive training manual and an electronic supplement. Course materials are enhanced and updated on a regular basis and correspond with the current product version. This one day course is designed for those new to timetabling in schools. It introduces participants to the principles of timetabling and analyses typical curriculum models used in schools. This one day overview course is for new timetablers who have some experience in timetabling and require an overview of how student elective subjects (options) are managed using The Timetabler V7TE. This one day overview course is for new and experienced users of The Daily Organiser Module in The Timetabler V7TE. All aspects of the module will be covered as well as how to setup and configure the General Access module. This one day course is for experienced users of The Timetabler, the skills covered in the Introductory Course on the Student Options Module are assumed. Topics covered are decided on the day by the participants and will be selected from: Student Options Multi-User Sets, Manual and Automatic Development of Grid, Use of Tight, Tightest, Conflict, Tagging, Divide, Lock and Same, Control student allocations to classes using curriculum constraints, Develop sub-grids for semesterisation, Manage options with different unit weightings, Develop Exam Grid, Update student details and preferences using the import facility, Develop the grid for a totally vertical curriculum. This one day course is for experienced users of The Timetabler. The skills covered in the Introductory Course on the Timetable Development Module are assumed. Topics: How to timetable the different curriculum models:- Vertical, Horizontal, Fully Blocked, Partially Blocked and Multi Level Blocking, Use of a blocking schedule for solving difficult timetables, Use of TEST, AUTO and Banding, Multi-Campus Schools, How to get student timetables for the different curriculums and banding.
