How to use Grid Constraints Resources

Published : Monday, 22 November 2004
The Resources function is used to restrict the number of options from a selected group that can be placed on the same grid line. For example, if there is only 1 Commerce teacher and 3 Commerce subjects, Acounting, Economics and Legal Studies then these must be placed on separate lines of the grid.

Resolution :
1. In the Student Options module, select Information|Resources.

2. Click Add.

3. Double click on Acounting, Economics and Legal Studies in the Exclude column. These 3 options will be displayed in the include column, Click OK.

4. Enter the number of resources available, ie teachers or rooms and click OK.
