Importing Grid Lines

Published : Friday, 27 August 2004
Before importing Grid Lines, you should check that the lines have been prepared correctly in Student Options. The three items to check are:
1. The class codes are correct.
2. Each class is defined in a Roll Class that exists in the timetable file.
3. Each student is defined in a Roll Class that exists in the timetable file.

Symptoms :
If any error messages appear they usually address inconsistencies between the Student Options and Timetable Development files. For example, in Student Options you may have a Roll Class defined as Yr 11 whereas in the Timetable Development it is defined as 11.

Resolution :
1. The user needs to ensure Roll Class codes and Class codes are consistent between the two files.

2. Import the grid lines in the order that they are defined in the Timetable Development Module.
