Student Access Guide |
Once a user has completed the Web Preferences
Registration Guide a zip file located on their desktop needs to be emailed to Timetabling Solutions. When the school's registration has been completed at Timetabling Solutions, a set of Acrobat Reader (PDF) files, containing a personalised Student Access Guide for each student will be emailed back to the user.
When a student accesses Web Preferences
they will have to log in via the Log in page (Fig 1.0). The Student Access Guide contains the student code and password they will need.

Once the student has logged in, their personalised homepage will be loaded (Fig 2.0). Displayed within that page will be their name, the name of their school, and their current preferences (if they have any).

If the student wishes to add or change preferences, they press the "Add New Preferences" button on their homepage, loading the preference selection page (Fig 3.0). Once the student has selected their preferences a new page confirming their preferences selections will be loaded.

If the student is happy with their selection they press the "submit preferences" button, loading a new page showing them a receipt of their preferences. This page is then to be printed off and submitted to the school.

Returning Data to the School.
Once the Closing date has passed, Timetabling Solutions will automatically update the school's Version 7SE SOF Database files with the new preference data, and the database files will be emailed back to the school.
