Web Preferences Registration Guide

The Web Preferences Registration Guide is a small application a user can download that collects all the information required to register with Web Preferences. Information required to complete the Web Preferences Registration Guide include:

• Opening Date: When do you want students to start submitting preferences?  (Access is available from 12am on the date specified)
  
• Closing Date: When do you want students to stop submitting preferences? (Access closes 12 midnight on the date specified)
  
• Opening Message: Do you have any messages you wish displayed when students are selecting preferences? 
  (Please note that in the opening and closing messages Web Preferences removes any extra spaces or carriage returns and is limited to 2,500 characters.  The result is that the message is displayed as one long paragraph.  We suggest that for more complex instructions you distribute additional information with the student access guide.)
  
• Closing Message: Do you have any message you wish displayed on a students preference receipt?
  
• Preference Total: What is the maximum number of preferences a student can choose?
  
• Submission Total: How many times can a student change their preferences?
  
• SOF Database Files: What students and Options do you want made available in Web Preferences?

Once a user has completed the Web Preferences Registration Guide a zip file located on their desktop needs to be emailed to Timetabling Solutions.  When the school's registration has been completed at Timetabling Solutions, a set of Acrobat Reader (PDF) files, containing a personalised Student Access Guide for each student will be emailed back to the user.
