Daily Organiser Module

The Daily Organiser module is designed to assist in the management of daily administrative tasks such as selecting replacement teachers to cover teacher absences, lesson cancellations, student absences, student excursions, and changes to student attendance at lessons.

The daily amendments can be viewed through the school network using the General Access module.

Information

• Automatically reads timetable data from Timetable Development module.
• User defined reasons for teacher absences.
• User defined reasons for lesson cancellations.
• Add/edit details on emergency and relief teachers.
• Priority weighting on replacements taken by teachers.  Useful for part-time teachers
• Fine-tune arrangement for over or under allotted teachers.

Events

• Specify and automatically read calendar activities (future absences).
• Record teacher absences (for period or day).
• Record lesson and yard duty cancellations.
• Arrange temporary room change.
• Specify replacement teachers - available teachers listed in priority order and with prior replacement history.
• Replacements can be given a load value.
• Duties other than replacements can be counted.
• Yard duty replacements can be decimalised.
• Emergency teacher availability.
• Numbers and names of students involved in specified activities-useful to assist in collapsing classes.

Reports

• Numerous reports including free teachers vs cancellations, absence list, check overall coverage, room and teachers changes.
• Teacher and lesson absences over any user defined time range.
• 'Find' a student, teacher or room (i.e. display timetable).
• Numbers and names of students to assist in collapsing lessons.
• Construct teacher and message bulletins (for General Access module).
